Alison is celebrated for her adventurous new takes on traditional Kentucky fare. With a passion for cooking from a young age, her enthusiasm to prepare exceptional traditional-inspired meals with unique flair using fresh local ingredients is now matched with Hermitage Farm’s farm-to-table operation, connecting place to plate. A graduate of Sullivan University’s Culinary Arts Program, Alison’s talent has been recognized by regional chefs who offered tutelage to her in their kitchens, and through awards, and via media broadcasts. Alison leads the kitchen and operations of Barn8 Restaurant at Hermitage Farm.
