Conserving America’s Farmland

Hermitage Farm is dedicated to conserving America’s farmland for future generations. A tax-deductible gift of an agriculture easement to a conservation nonprofit is the best way to ensure a piece of land will remain part of our agricultural heritage. Below is a list of local and national organizations that can provide more information on conservation easements.

Hermitage Farm Placed in Agricultural Easement

Joining over 1,000 acres of prime Kentucky farmland already conserved by its owners, Hermitage Farm has been placed in agricultural easement, ensuring that it will remain farmland forever. This generous act follows Laura Lee Brown and Steve Wilson’s intentions of simultaneously improving city life and conserving rural landscapes.
