Common Ground with Chef Masa Hamaya

Join us for the inaugural Common Ground, a new monthly dinner series that brings acclaimed guest chefs to Hermitage Farm for collaborative evenings celebrating exceptional ingredients, shared values, and the connection between farm and table. Each dinner offers a unique culinary perspective while showcasing the seasonal bounty of the farm through a thoughtfully curated dining experience.

Our first collaboration welcomes Chef Masa Hamaya, Executive Chef of Charleston’s Shokudō, alongside Barn8 Executive Chef Ryan Singletary for a one-night-only five-course dinner. Featuring pristine seafood sourced from one of Chef Masa’s trusted fish purveyors, locally grown produce from Hermitage Farm, and expertly paired wines, the menu blends Japanese culinary influences with Barn8’s farm-driven approach. Throughout the evening, guests will experience a celebration of craftsmanship, collaboration, and ingredient-driven cooking.
