Queen Paddock Preview

On August 22, 2025, Hermitage Farm will host the Queen’s Paddock Preview, an intimate, one-day-only experience offering rare access to its Yearling Division during peak sales prep season. Guests will enjoy a curated Kentucky-sourced charcuterie reception before boarding a guided hayride through the scenic fields where future champions are raised, culminating at the historic Queen’s Paddock—once visited by Queen Elizabeth II. There, the farm’s team will present a live yearling parade and share insights into each horse’s journey toward the world’s premier sales rings, with opportunities for photos and optional add-ons like a sales prep booklet or private group booking. Limited to 30 guests, the 2.5-hour event begins at noon, with tickets starting at $75 and requiring 48-hour advance reservations.

Hermitage Sales Day Experience

On September 10, 2025, Hermitage Farm presents the Hermitage Sales Day Experience, a five-hour, behind-the-scenes journey into the world of elite Thoroughbred sales. The day begins at Hermitage with a light breakfast and an introduction from Director of Tours Hannah Curtis, then continues with a scenic ride through Kentucky horse country to Keeneland. Guests will explore the sales grounds on a guided walking tour, meet Hermitage’s sales team, and watch the fast-paced yearling auction unfold. A complimentary lunch provides time for Q&A and insider insights before returning to Hermitage by mid-afternoon. Limited to just 14 guests, this $175 experience includes round-trip transportation, expert guidance, and rare insider privileges, with reservations required at least 72 hours in advance.
