This November, our Common Ground Dinner Series welcomes the team behind Willett Distillery, one of Kentucky’s most celebrated independent bourbon producers, for an evening that brings together the culinary traditions of the Lowcountry and the rich heritage of Kentucky bourbon.

Founded in Bardstown in 1936, Willett Distillery has remained family-owned and operated for five generations, earning a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, independence, and some of the most sought-after whiskeys in the country.

For this special evening, Barn8 Executive Chef Ryan Singletary will be joined by Willett Executive Chef John Sleasman. With shared culinary roots in Charleston, South Carolina, the two chefs will come together to create a five-course dinner inspired by the flavors and traditions of Lowcountry cuisine, thoughtfully paired with a selection of wines and Willett spirits.

The evening will culminate in an exclusive pour of a limited-edition Willett bourbon, offering guests a rare opportunity to experience something truly special. Following dinner, the Willett team will remain on hand for additional tastings, conversation, and an opportunity to explore some of the distillery’s rare offerings.

Celebrate the magic of the season with the return of one of our favorite holiday traditions, Holiday Tea at Hermitage Farm. This year, we’re bringing the experience to our Greenhouse, nestled beside Barn8, for a festive afternoon surrounded by lush greenery and the warmth of the holiday season.

Settle in for an elegant tea service featuring a thoughtfully curated selection of teas, delicate pastries, seasonal sweets, and savory bites, all prepared by the talented culinary and pastry teams at Barn8. With the Greenhouse dressed for the holidays, guests can enjoy a cozy, intimate setting complete with festive live entertainment, bringing together the natural beauty of the farm and the traditions of the season.

Whether gathering with family, catching up with friends, or simply taking a moment to enjoy the festivities, Holiday Tea is a wonderful way to celebrate the season and make lasting memories at Hermitage Farm.

Holiday Tea will be offered Fridays and Saturdays, November 27 through December 19, with seatings at 12 PM and 4 PM.
