DESCRIPTION:Our next guest speaker for The Whiskey Files is another member of the Bourbon Hall of Fame. Peggy Noe Stevens has worked in hospitality and the bourbon industry for over 30 years\, during which time she became the world’s first female Master Bourbon Taster. Just over 10 years ago she created the Bourbon Women Association\, and she worked as an originator for the development of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. In addition to serving as a spirit’s judge for the American Distilling Institute\, Stevens has authored multiple books on personal branding and beverage pairing\, the latest of which\, titled Which Fork Do I Use with My Bourbon?\, she’ll be signing at the event. So join us April 13 to sip some bourbon and hear Stevens share about her experience in making a difference for women in the bourbon industry.

Berry has published works of poetry\, fiction\, and essays\, and has devoted his life to small farmers and their communities.  Berry is a widely respected voice for an economy and culture that will support good land use in Kentucky and beyond. \nWe look forward to hearing him read a selection of his work and speak on the importance of agriculture to our society. In addition to this reading\, the event will include a cocktail hour\, dinner catered by Barn8 Restaurant\, and a book signing with both Berry and his wife\, Tanya\, whose book of photography depicts Kentucky farmers at work.
