Mark your calendars for April 17th as we proudly present “The Thoroughbred Industry Night” – an illuminating panel discussion featuring esteemed industry professionals\, delving into the heart of all things Derby.  \nThis event offers a unique opportunity to reflect on the profound legacy that has solidified Kentucky as the epicenter of the equine world\, culminating in the exhilarating two minutes that captivate the globe each year. Smith\, a graduate of the University of Louisville\, is the Founder and Executive Director of Second Stride\, Inc. Since 2005\, Second Stride has become a leading national equine adoption program\, offering transitional safety net aftercare for thoroughbred horses. Kim is actively involved in industry organizations and provides professional services such as aftercare educational material and consultations. \nTom Drury\, Thoroughbred Trainer \nLouisville native Tom Drury Jr.\, a protégé of former trainer Frank Brothers\, gained national recognition in 2020 as the trainer of Art Collector\, winner of the Toyota Blue Grass Stakes. With a career spanning since 1991\, Drury has earned accolades on the Kentucky circuit for his adept handling of horses. Art Collector marked Drury’s first graded stakes win\, propelling him into the spotlight as a leading divisional contender. \nWilliam “Buff” Bradley\, Former Trainer\, Current Associate of Sales Development at Keeneland \nTrainer William “Buff” Bradley\, with a rich family heritage in Thoroughbred racing\, has achieved notable success over his career. Known for his prowess with horses like Brass Hat and Groupie Doll\, Bradley transitioned to a role at Keeneland focusing on sales development. With over $19.2 million in earnings from 1993 to 2021\, Bradley’s expertise strengthens Keeneland’s outreach program to horsemen and enhances participation in sales. \nAnthony Koch\, Director of Sales & Marketing\, Hallway Feeds \nAnthony Koch\, raised on Claiborne Farm\, now serves as the Director of Sales & Marketing at Hallway Feeds. A graduate of the University of Kentucky\, Koch oversees branding\, marketing\, and client relations within the Thoroughbred industry. With a focus on individualized feed programs and community outreach\, Koch plays a pivotal role in meeting the diverse needs of Thoroughbred farms.
